This particular Lantern Roof comes complete with Clear 1.2 u-value glass and a protective coating to prevent up to 60% reflection from the sun’s heat rays. There are many benefits to installing this beautifully coloured roof glass including a 53% reduction from the sun’s glare which protects furniture and fabrics from fading.

How to Measure

Step 1 – External Kerb
The key measurement to take is the external kerb size, as shown in the diagram above. When measuring the base (or kerb) where the lantern will be installed, you need to record the outside dimensions — both the length and the width.

Step 2 – Important Note
The kerb is usually constructed from timber, with an ideal width of 80mm. Please note that the minimum allowable kerb width is 67mm.

What glazing do you recommend?

We offer different glazing tints, all detailed on the ‘Korniche Roof Lantern’ section of our website. 1.2 U-value glazing is the equivalent to double glazing, and can be supplied in Clear or Blue. Our 1.0 U-value glazing is the equivalent to triple glazing, and reflects 85% of the solar glare. This can be supplied in Clear orAqua.

Can I have any size Korniche Roof Lantern?
